Some FAQ’s if you’re on the fence…
Q: When does harvest start?
Harvest typically starts in late September to early October when the grapes reach optimum ripeness for delicious wine!
Q: Do I need to bring my own tools?
Fingers work (light gloves may be more comfortable), but small garden shears are also good if you have them. Scissors will work in a pinch as well!
Q: What time do you start/end?
Picking starts at 9:00am. We usually break for lunch around noon, and then wrap up around sunset!
Q: Is lunch provided?
YES! We will organize lunch depending on how many people sign up each day. Beverages will also be provided to keep you hydrated, of course!
Q: My dog LOVES being outside, are dogs welcome in the vineyard?
Yes! Provided they play well with others—we bring our pups, Leaf and Pesto, to vineyard with us pretty much every time
Q: I can’t get to the vineyard before 5pm, is there anything else I can do to help?
Yes! We will be bringing the grapes back to our home winery at the end of each picking day, where we will then start processing our 2022 vintage (yay!)! We would love all the help we can get stomping on grapes, spraying out 5-gallon buckets, cleaning equipment, and lots, lots more! Bring a koozie, stomp on some grapes, hang by the fire, and let’s gooo!
